I see my shadow fade in broad daylight,

Is it I, I wonder, or the day fading into night?

I see a star burn light years away,

Is it I, I wonder, or just my fire waning away?

I see the waves come and go,

Is it my thoughts I wonder, getting washed ashore?

I see a storm consume all in its path,

Is it my mind I wonder, or my eternally sunken heart?

I see the mirror crack'd, as I look me in the eye,

Is it my reflection, I wonder, or is it I?

I see the doors open, and time passing me by

Another universe, maybe, across the infinite sky?
