Srjan—Beyond Dance
Besides dancing, I was involved in editorial support, compering, and writing articles on Odissi dance and performing arts at Srjan. In addition to completing a comprehensive dissertation on the choreographic processes of eminent present-day Odissi gurus (from Guruji's gharana), I have now started working on dance writing Bangalore, and am honoured to have my dance articles published on Narthaki.com, the most renowned classical dance portal. Here's a glimpse of some of the work that I have been involved in. I aspire to become a dance educator in the future.

Dancing into Eternity—An endearing view of his multifaceted life and work—Guru Kelucharan Mohapatra is a pictorial history of the life and times of Guru Kelucharan Mohapatra, the father-architect of Odissi dance. The book is interspersed with articles by his numerous disciples and well wishers, in memory of his wondrous qualities. I provided editorial support and assisted in the compilation of this book.

Every year, Srjan releases a souvenir on the occasion of the annual Guru Kelucharan Mohapatra Award Festival, an internationally renowned Indian classical dance and music festival featuring performing artistes of the highest calibre and repute from across the globe. Since 2017, I have been working on the editing and compilation of this periodical, under the direction of Guru Ratikant Mohapatra.
Srjan hosts three important annual events, Antardrishti and Samsmaranam, the birth and death anniversaries of Guru Kelucharan Mohapatra, and the five-day long Guru Kelucharan Mohapatra Award Festival. I have had the honour of compering for all three events—in 2019, Antardrishti and Samsmaranam, and in 2020 and 2021, the Award Festival, and have also compered dance events such as Under 16, Navapallava, and a few private dance shows.
